This course is a continuation of Civil Litigation 101 and teaches the basics of a civil litigation file and how to draft common documents. Students learn how to calculate time, and how to interpret and use the Rules of Court. The course balances theory with practice. The participants learn how to anticipate steps in the process which enables them to begin to work independently. Upon the completion of this course, they will be able to use critical thinking skills, initiate work, prioritize their own work and understand overall file management. (36 hours)
